Spirituality in Action
Sri Chinmoy gave tremendous importance to remaining in the world and contributing towards its betterment as a means of spiritual progress. In that spirit, the Sri Chinmoy Centre offers concerts, classes and other cultural and athletic events for the general public. In addition, many students of Sri Chinmoy have opened up 'divine enterprises' - cafes, restaurants and other places of business where people can be refreshed in body and soul.

Furman und seine Assistenten kreierten in fünf Stunden das 3,46 km (2,15 Meilen) lange Blumenband, das sich aus 80 000 Nelken verschiedener Farben zusammensetzte, rund um den Meadow See im Flushing Meadow-Corona Park in New York.

Chicago's Best is a TV show that airs on WGN in Chicago and also on CLTV, their cable partner channel. On July 7th 2011 host Brittney Payton filmed a segment on the veggie burgers at Victory's Banner Restaurant in Roscoe Village, Chicago because they were chosen as a Chicago's Best Burger.
